NovaEnergia implemented a 200 KWp solar energy system for D’Aqua Water’s manufacturing site in Daqqou, Lebanon. The solution ensures continuous, cost-effective energy for this water bottling operation, significantly reducing diesel dependence and operational costs.
D’Aqua Water is one of Lebanon’s premium bottled water producers, with a high-output production line running on continuous energy loads. NovaEnergia designed and installed a 200 KWp rooftop solar system to ensure operational energy coverage while dramatically cutting down generator use and electricity expenses.
📍 The Challenge
Water bottling operations require consistent, reliable power to maintain output quality and machinery performance. Grid outages were causing interruptions, increased maintenance costs, and over-reliance on fuel-based generators.
⚡ The Solution
NovaEnergia deployed a custom-engineered EPC system, including:
200 KWp of solar panels installed across optimized roof layouts
Smart inverter configuration with surge-handling capacity
On-site technician training for long-term system monitoring and management
The solution was tailored to ensure seamless integration with the client’s production schedule and machine load profile.
🌍 The Impact
The project now delivers more than $48,000 in annual savings, with a forecasted payback period of just under 3 years. The plant has significantly cut back its diesel consumption, reducing maintenance costs and carbon emissions by approximately 300 tons per year.
🏆 Why It Matters
The D’Aqua project demonstrates that mid-sized industrial clients can achieve full solar autonomy during production hours, unlocking predictable costs and sustainable growth.
