Rotto Flexo Press – Dhour Choueir

NovaEnergia engineered and executed a 750 KWp solar system for Rotto Flexo Press — one of Lebanon’s largest flexographic printing facilities. The custom-built system ensures consistent power for high-speed presses and eliminated energy-related downtime during daily production.

Rotto Flexo Press – 750 KWp Solar EPC

Location: Dhour Choueir, Mount Lebanon
Client Sector: Industrial / High-Speed Printing & Packaging

NovaEnergia successfully deployed a 750 KWp solar EPC system at Rotto Flexo Press — one of Lebanon’s largest commercial printing operations. Known for its high-speed flexographic presses, the facility required consistent, uninterrupted power for precision and productivity.

📍 The Challenge

The printing industry demands precision-timed production cycles that can’t afford power fluctuations or outages. Rising diesel costs and growing grid instability threatened both quality control and cost efficiency.

⚡ The Solution

NovaEnergia’s EPC team delivered:

  • 750 KWp of solar capacity engineered to meet high surge and continuous load requirements
  • Advanced synchronization with backup systems and local grid
  • A monitoring dashboard tailored to facility managers

The system was installed over multiple roof surfaces and adapted to local infrastructure for maximum generation and zero interruptions.

🌍 The Impact

Rotto Flexo now powers a major portion of its daily operations using solar, saving over $130,000 annually and offsetting approximately 700 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
The return on investment was achieved in just 2.7 years, with long-term operational and maintenance cost reductions forecasted for over two decades.

🏆 Why It Matters

This project proves that solar is a reliable, scalable solution even for high-speed, precision-based industries. It stands as a benchmark for large industrial solar adoption in Lebanon’s commercial manufacturing sector.
